About
Hello and thank you for stopping by!
My name’s Sarah and I'm a graphic designer living in New England.
I became interested in art at a very early age, building imaginary castles out of construction paper and cardboard tubes. In my adolescences, most nights consisted of drawing dragons, Pokémon, anime, and basically anything I was into at the time. In high school, I took as many art related classes I could possible take; pottery, stained glass, painting, CAD, etc. Which all lead me to take AP Art as a senior. Although I didn’t do as well as I hope, it taught me something about myself. Fine art wasn’t really my passion, design was.
College made me a mature designer. In the beginning is was hard not to let my preference for things take over a concept. I had to learn to uses references, not just whatever was in my head. Which lead me to shift my focus away from myself and towards the proposed client for an assignment. I started looking outside myself, which made me a better designer.
I’m well versed in Adobe Creative Cloud, typography, layouts, info graphics, print and web. I use these skills deliver succinct designs to meet clients needs.
